Attorney Sara Coopwood

Attorney Sara Coopwood practices out of Flint Law Firm's Dallas office. Her focus is on toxic tort litigation, primarily representing individuals exposed to asbestos. Sara is committed to representing her clients through the entire litigation journey, from the initial stage of filing a claim to its resolution.

Sara earned her bachelor's degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Political Communication and Spanish. While at UT, Sara was involved in the pre-law organization Phi Alpha Delta and PALS (Partnerships to Advance Language Study and Cultural Exchange Program). Upon graduation, Sara attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctor degree in 2012. While at SMU, Sara participated in Law-Related Education, a program that teaches fifth grade Dallas ISD students about the US legal system and government. She also competed in the National Civil Trial Competition, Puerto Rico Trial Advocacy Competition, and National Trial Competition as a member of SMU's mock trial teams.

Before joining Flint Law Firm, Sara practiced asbestos litigation at a nationally-recognized plaintiffs' law firm in Dallas. Sara is currently a member of the American Association for Justice and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. In her spare time, Sara enjoys rooting for the Texas Longhorns, traveling, and being outdoors.
